Blaenau Gwent Foodbank provided 4862 three day emergency food parcels to local people between April 2022 to March 2023. Of this number, 1741 went to children. This is a 23% increase in referrals compared to last years figures. During this period we have distributed food to place on tables of almost 44,000 meals. We distributed this last year 44 tons of food and received in donations over 42 tons so there is still a great need to donate to our Foodbank to close the gap
